Who is it suitable for?
Perfect for short to medium trips - from home to the train station, to work, or for errands around the city. The small wheels (14") make them agile for maneuvering and allowed on public transportation. Suitable for ages 16+ as required by law, and riders up to 120 kg.
Who is it less suitable for?
Less suitable for continuous rides longer than 30-35 km, unpaved terrain, or very steep climbs. Also not ideal for those looking for large-wheel bikes for sporty riding.
What we tested and discovered
The first thing you notice - the weight. 23.8 kg is relatively light for electric bikes with a 48V battery. Light enough to lift into the trunk or carry up a few stairs.
Legal 250W motor that handles regular urban inclines well. TEKTRO MD-M280 brakes provide confidence - sharp and precise braking. Magnesium rims are lighter and stronger than regular aluminum.
The battery removes easily - you can charge at home or office without dragging the whole bike. There's also a USB port for charging your phone while riding - nice for navigation.
What's important to know
The bike is not rated for water resistance - avoid riding in heavy rain and store in a covered area. The 2.125" wide tires provide reasonable stability, but this isn't a fat bike - adjust your riding style accordingly.
