Accessibility Statement
At Kumizz we place great importance on providing equal, accessible service to all our customers, including people with disabilities. This statement describes the accessibility measures that have been and are being implemented on our website, the limitations known to us as of the date it was last updated, and the ways to contact us about anything related to accessibility.
Our Commitment
We work on an ongoing basis to improve the accessibility of this website, with the aim of enabling every person to browse it and find information on it independently, comfortably and safely.
Making the site accessible is a continuous process. Improvements are made gradually, and at any given stage there may be pages or components on the site that are not yet fully accessible. We do not present this website as fully accessible, and we continue working to close the gaps.
Scope of This Statement
This statement relates to the Kumizz website at www.kumizz.com and to the content we publish on it.
It does not apply to content, services or interfaces operated by third parties and not under our control, including the checkout and payment pages of payment providers, delivery services, embedded components, and content received from manufacturers and suppliers.
The site is presented in several languages. The extent of accessibility work may differ between the language versions.
The Standard We Work Toward
Accessibility work on this site is carried out with the aim of meeting the requirements of Israeli Standard IS 5568 on the accessibility of web content, which is based on the W3C WCAG guidelines at level AA.
This is a target we are working toward. Nothing stated here constitutes a declaration of full conformance with the standard, nor does it indicate any certification, approval or verification of conformance.
Accessibility Measures Implemented and Ongoing
Measures that have been implemented on the site and continue to be applied include:
- Structuring pages for use with screen readers, including a hierarchy of headings and defined navigation landmarks.
- A "Skip to main content" link that appears at the start of every page when navigating by keyboard.
- Setting the page language and text direction according to the browsing language, including support for right-to-left writing.
- Support for navigating and operating interactive components by keyboard, together with a visible indication of the focused element.
- Adding alternative text to images and descriptions to graphical components.
- Sizing touch targets on mobile devices and supporting browser zoom.
- Running automated accessibility checks as part of our development process, and fixing the issues they surface in order of priority.
Using the Site with Assistive Technologies
The site is built to support keyboard browsing and common screen reader software. For the best experience we recommend using an up-to-date version of your browser and of your screen reader.
- Move between elements on the page using the Tab key, and back using Shift + Tab.
- Activate links and buttons using the Enter key; buttons can also be activated using the Space key.
- Zoom the display in or out in your browser using the Ctrl key together with the + / - keys (on Mac, using the Command key).
Because there are many possible combinations of operating systems, browsers and assistive technologies, we cannot undertake that behaviour will be identical in every possible combination. If you encounter difficulty with a particular combination, we would be glad for you to report it to us so we can look into it.
Known Limitations
Despite our efforts, certain parts of the site may not yet be fully accessible, or may contain accessibility defects. Among other things:
- Certain pages, components or flows on the site may not meet all accessibility requirements, and are being addressed gradually.
- Product content, specifications, images and files received from manufacturers and suppliers may not be accessible or may not include alternative descriptions.
- Components and content embedded on the site from external sources, including videos, maps and payment pages, are subject to the level of accessibility provided by those parties.
- Recently added content may be made accessible at a later stage.
We continue to identify and fix defects, and we handle the reports that reach us on this subject.
Alternative Service Channel
If a component or a flow on the site is not accessible to you - including finding a product, obtaining information or completing an order - we will be glad to assist you personally by phone, WhatsApp or email, and to consider together how we can complete the action for you.
These channels are available during the service hours published on the contact page of this site.
Physical Premises
This statement relates to the website only, and does not constitute a statement regarding the accessibility of any building, facility or physical environment.
Customers who require an accessibility accommodation in order to collect an order are welcome to contact us in advance by phone, WhatsApp or email, and we will be glad to consider the available options together.
